Tonight C and I got to go on a date. Some friends of ours have offered over and over to babysit (they have a ten and a seven year old, who think the concept of babysitting is fun) so we finally found a night to leave Noah for awhile. We dropped him off and headed to Applebee's. While we were there, the guy who was in a nice collared shirt and dress pants and had the big key ring on his belt walked by, and C said, "Hey, he is important, he has all the keys." So then I asked him, "I wonder what key ring would be the most important key ring in the world?" He said, "Fort Knox..."
So, that is my question to you as well. What do you think the most important set of keys or the most valuable key ring in the world is? I think my answer is the Louvre. What do you think?

Cat Problem
Does any body know of any remedies, either home or commercial, to get rid of cats and/or keep them out of your flowerbeds and off your property?
Please comment with your remedies.

Kenya for Easter
We are leaving in a week for a conference in Kenya! Yah! Be jealous, if you want. Be happy for us if you want, no skin off my back. Either way, we are in Kenya.
Because of the baby we won't be able to do any of the really cool stuff though. No safari's, lion-hunting, or hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro, will be on the agenda. Mostly meetings, so we will be in Kenya, but not "in" Kenya, if you know what I mean.
But we can all dream together. If you could go to Kenya, what would you do? Tell me. You can use some from this list or something else.
1. Safari
2. Eat at the Carnivore (an all meat buffet! yummy!)
3. Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
4. Ride through the Serengeti Plains
5. Ride an elephant
6. Tour a tea plantation
7. Visit the Java House (famous coffee shop in Nairobi)
8. [insert your own crazy thing here]
Leave a comment and let us know.

Second Practice and Poll Results
The results are in and they have been tallied. Before I tell you, or before you scroll down and look... I want to tell you about our second practice in preparation for our game on Friday. We were trying to do some batting/fielding practice. You know, they hit it and run to first base and the infield tries to catch it and if they do that then they try throw it to first. If they do all of that correctly and in a timely manner, then the first basemen tries to catch it. Needless to say our firstbasemen was bored out of his mind.
We have a kid on our time is just barely eight and is a runt. He is a really cute kid, but doens't know anything about baseball or about English. He got up to the plate and hit one. It barely trickled up to the pitcher's mound. He took off towards first as fast as he could screaming from excitement. About 4 feet from first he turns and heads to second. About half way there he runs three steps towards third and books it towards home. He gets home and stops screaming. That was only his first hit.
After this I told him to just run to first and stop and stand on the base and listen to me. He gets another hit and goes running off to first. The pitcher grabs the ball and instead of throwing it to first, starts running after him, so what does shortie do? He runs right by first and into the shallow outfield and heads towards second. In the meanwhile all the kids are jumping up and down and screaming and the pitcher is chasing shortie all over the outfield until he reaches second where I grab him and hold him on the base. We are doomed!
So here are your votes. It's too late to change them.

How Will We Do?
Since you've read about all the things that are completely backwards about our team. How do you think we will do? What will our final record be? The first number represents "Wins," and the second represents "Loses" For example, 0-8 means "no wins and 8 loses."
A. 0-8
B. 2-6
C. 4-4
D. 6-2
E. 8-0

Just a Reminder to Vote!
We have a baby doctor appointment coming up a week from Wednesday, on the 8th. I was tallying the votes from the our post about what you wanted, and I am going to post them in a couple of days, but I wanted to give you a chance to vote (if you hadn't already) before I posted the results. Remember, every vote doesn't really count. The decision is already pretty final, but at least you get to guess.
Your choices still are:
A) A Boy
B) A Girl
C) Twins
D) Don't Care
Click on the comments link below and let us hear your opinion.

Cast Your Vote!
Cast Your Vote!
We have our 4 month baby check-up this week. I am really anxious and excited. This is the infamous check-up where we find out if Baby Bull is a boy or a girl. We’ve been tossing back and forth names and what colors to do what in, but after tomorrow we may have a better idea.
Here is the deal. Bethany wants BB to be a boy. I am torn between the two. KD, my little sister, thinks BB is a boy. What do you think/want? Comment and let us know. If you are like me and are just happy to have a kid, then comment and tell us that. You choices are:
1) A Boy
2) A Girl
3) All of the Above (Yikes)
4) Don’t Care
We aren’t going to tell you what BB is unless we get some feedback from this post. So vote and bring your friends.

Tell Me What To Do
I have a plethora of material I could put on a blog during any given week. Anything from funny stories of me failing at language learning, really funny stories of my friends learning the culture, to be great conversations with the family, to deep theological truths the LORD is teaching me, with an occasional video thrown in. The problem comes with that I only have so much time to update this and I can’t put everything. I know that this blog only will be read by you guys if you get what you want from me.
If I put nothing but theology I will lose some of you. If I plant nothing but silly, stupid stories some will think I’ve done absolutely nothing since I’ve been, and if I tell too many stories about the people I meet I’ve blown security and could be on the next plane home.
So here is the deal: I need you to comment and tell me your vote.
It’s the people’s choice awards in a sense. Would you rather have:
Theology
Funny Stories
Stories of Friends
Pictures of Everything
A Video for Everything, even stupid stuff.
Let me know.
