Today was my first day at school. Arabic School. It was like being in kindergarten again. We talked about letters and how to pronounce things and had a little school assembly. Its really odd, because the school just recently moved into an old kindergarten building, so it fits.
I have three differents periods in the morning. Bethany and I aren't in the same class, so its fun to listen to her first day and her class compared to my class. We are covering the same material. We just have different teachers. Here is a picture of all my books for this semester. These are just my books. B has her own set just like this one. So for all of you thinking we have it easy, I will coin a very good Arabic phrase.."go sweep the desert!" :)

that phrase is priceless! i haven't heard one like that here yet...but with phrases like that you really are going to lead people to believe that you are riding camels around to your kinder classes, etc!

I'm dloading the video now. *Watching*....

Way to get the video cam turned "right side up"...nice nod to Crowder...and...I'm stinking proud of you for getting all that stuff (code, etc) up and running so quick. You are a pro. This Arabic thing is going to be a cinch if you can video-blog!

Can I come learn Arabic with you? I'm kind of chomping at the bit! (as if I've actually master this language).

BTW - tried to call the other night. COuldn't get a line out or in or something. Just know we love you and are eager to talk.
