Noah has begun using the word "stupid." It has gotten worse despite our best efforts to curb it, so B went to washing Noah's mouth out with soap in order to deter him from using it anymore. The problem came when we realized we don't have any bar soap in our house. B, being quick on her feet and all around better at this parenting thing than me, grabbed the liquid soap and made Noah put some on his toothbrush and brush his teeth with it.
Needless to say, Noah HATED it and it deterred him from using the word for the remainder of the day. The next morning though B and I began to brush our teeth and realized that our toothbrushes tasted soapy.
Noah had snuck into the bathroom and soaped both of our toothbrushes without us knowing it!!

Oh my goodness! That is awesome, I mean the intelligence of that kid! Now how do I get Eli to stay the age that he is at right now, it is a good stage and I don't have soap in my toothbrush!
While I feel bad you brushed your teeth with soap, I am trying to figure out if Noah heard you say the word "stupid" to feel you needed to wash your mouth out with soap as well. Anyways, I sure do miss you guys and love hearing about your never dull lives!
It is amazing how long that soap taste lingers on even if you do wash your toothbrush.
There are so many pros to having a kid Noah's age though. They carry their own stuff, they don't produce paint-peeling diapers, the list is endless.
Sadly enough, I am sure Noah heard "stupid" from me and thought I needed it. He probably heard worse than that as I spattered and sputtered under the soapy foam, he just didn't know they were worse than stupid.
That's the funniest thing I have read all day.. Amazing. I miss you guys. I hope everything is going well.
